Nottingham Forest transfers: Douglas Luiz deal headlines August spree as full-back search goes on

Nottingham Forest have moved aggressively in August 2025, signing Douglas Luiz from Juventus for €30m and Dan Ndoye from Bologna for nearly £40m after selling Anthony Elanga to Newcastle. Omari Hutchinson and James McAtee have also arrived. The club is still targeting full-backs, with Sevilla’s Jose Angel Carmona and Manchester City’s Rico Lewis among options being explored.
