Q; How much is a Formula 27?

A; An F 27 Clubman in starter component form is £1,495 for the chassis and wishbone/de dion pack, with the 10 piece GRP gel coat body pack at £995. Alternatively, a fully built 2 litre Zetec powered car is from £14,000 depending on your specification.

Q; How much is a Monza LS 400?

A; In component form the chassis and wishbone pack is from £1995 including an uprated de dion unit. The 3 Piece GRP Body pack plus all mounting and fittings is from £1995 in gel coat. A factory built LS 400 is from £26,000 as a track day car or from £29,000 for a road going version.

Q; Is there any chance of buying a part built chassis?

A; Certainly!! We can build your chassis to any stage depending on your time and budget available. Please speak to us and we will gladly go through all the options.

Q; What are the speed and acceleration figures for these cars?

A; This depends to a large extent on the engine choice made. However, our 185bhp Duratec engined Formula 27 will reach 60mph in around 4 seconds with a top speed of 130mph. The Monza LS 400 is around the 3.5 second mark to 60mph but with a top speed in excess of 180 mph!!

Q; What is the road holding like?

A; A tremendous amount of thought and design has gone into these cars to optimise the drivability whether on road or track. This means both cars are well balanced in corners and inspire terrific confidence to add greatly to your driving experience.

Q; Is it possible to have any non standard parts fitted to my car?

A; That is one of the strengths of dealing with Image Sports Cars. We will custom build your car to accommodate various engines, gearboxes, drive trains, seats, wheels and tyres. This means your Formula 27 or Monza can be unique to you.

Q; Can I test drive a formula 27 or a Monza LS 400?

A; Of course you can!! I fact we prefer all our potential customers to drive our cars to get the feel of both the acceleration and the road holding. Although most tests are held locally to the workshop, we will try to accommodate test drives nearer to your location. Please contact us to arrange a time and date.

Q: How much are the cars?

A: The Clubman range starts from just £16,000 on the road. The Monza starts from just £20,000 on the road. Extra specifications, and individual paint options, are additional costs to consider, however Image Sports Cars will be happy to discuss your exact requirements with you.

Q: How long does it take to build a car?

A: Just four to six weeks from placing an order. Extra specifications may take a little longer but you will be notified of the timescale at the time of ordering.

Q: Is a warranty included?

A: All Image Sports Cars are covered by a comprehensive warranty. Please ask us for further information.

Q: What are the top speeds and acceleration rates of the cars?

A: This depends greatly on the engine choice made. However, the Monza range can exceed a top speed of 140mph and go from 0 to 60mph in around four seconds. When fitted with a Duratec engine, the Clubman range has approximately the same acceleration speed and a top speed of around 130mph.

Q: Can I test drive an Image Sports Cars vehicle?

Q: I’m an owner of another type of sports car. Do you offer any services of use to me?

A: Yes - Image Sports Cars is finalising the range of services it offers owners of other high performance vehicles. These already include optimising performance, adjustments to balance and weight ratios, and alignment services. Contact us for further details.

Q: Can I visit the Image Sports Cars premises and see my car being built?
